Austin songwriter/guitarist Leo Napoleon makes intimate indie psych-pop that turns personal trial into widescreen melody. He first drew attention with his Montagne EP, a cathartic set about stepping away from toxicity and doing the inner work; the release built a devoted grassroots following across Texas and beyond.

His new single, “Make it to July,” arrives August 21, 2025 on Happen Twice and finds Leo pushing further into spacey, psychedelic territory—lush textures, drifting guitars, and a warm, steady pulse. The song was sparked during a stretch of grueling manual work and a vivid dream in which his dad cooked fried chicken he called “Hatmadah,” a Jewish idea tied to steadfast perseverance. Leo took it as a sign: keep going. That resolve threads through the track’s soaring hook and shimmering atmospheres.

“Make it to July” opens the door to Leo Napoleon’s next chapter—expansive, resilient, and unafraid to get a little cosmic while staying deeply human.
