Petite League, the Queens-based, lofi, power-pop band, is announcing their sixth full-length album Thrill Seekers, which they are self-releasing on October 21st,  along with the single “Bloody Knuckles” on September 2nd. Listen to Bloody Knuckles here.

Bloody Knuckles serves as an ideal introduction to the new record with a punchy reminder of Petite League’s DIY roots while evolving their sound outside-of-house show basements and into a brand new light. Laying to rest the ethos that simplicity is the main weapon in Petite League’s arsenal, Lorenzo Gillis Cook’s familiar warm fuzz-based vocals are uplifted by noticeably more striking and sharp instrumentation – all while never letting go of the pop sensibilities the band is known for. Thrill Seekers shares these same sonic contrasts throughout the record while reflecting on the space the band continues to inhabit throughout years of creating its own spot-light, self-preservation, and what might be to come. Just as listeners of the band have continued to grow with the Petite League, so does the band itself.
