Samuel Aaron and Noah Roth are gearing up to release their highly anticipated collaborative EP, Two of Us, in February 2025 through indie record label, Happen Twice. Drawing inspiration from The Beatles’ iconic track of the same name, this project captures the nostalgia-inducing spirit of their Lennon/McCartney-esque connection while showcasing their unique creative chemistry.
The EP includes a heartfelt cover of “Two of Us” alongside four original songs that embody the timeless themes of companionship and shared experience. The lyric, “You and I have memories longer than the road that stretches out ahead,” resonates deeply with the duo, who are relatively new friends, but have already envisioned a long future of musicking as a pair.
Samuel Aaron and Noah Roth’s collaboration is rooted in serendipity. In 1981, Sam’s dad and Noah’s mom were classmates in high school physics in Skokie, IL. Fast forward to 2024, when Samuel and Noah met in Chicago and, in a single day, wrote and recorded the entire EP. Both accomplished solo artists, they’ve combined their talents to create something intimate yet expansive—a testament to the spontaneous power of artistic partnership.
The warm visual tones of the EP’s aesthetic mirror the organic and heartfelt nature of its creation. Reflecting their commitment to simplicity and authenticity, Samuel and Noah will hit the road as a duo, performing these new songs (and many others from their respective catalogs) live. This stripped-down touring approach mirrors the immediacy and raw energy of the EP itself.
Whether through the familiar harmonies of The Beatles or their own original compositions, Two of Us invites listeners to journey with Samuel Aaron and Noah Roth as they celebrate the creative sparks that bring people together.
